This is a textbook "3rd Pattern" model featuring heavy-duty, period-correct brass Scovill zippers on both the main front closure and the collar.

CONDITION: Excellent, clean vintage shape with original character-rich patina. The interior lightweight roll-out hood is fully intact.ZIPPER NOTE: The main front brass Scovill zipper pull is missing its bottom alignment pin and does not zip up. However, all original military-spec front metal snaps work perfectly, allowing the jacket to button up completely securely. Alternatively, it styles beautifully when worn open as a loose layering piece.
