Presented in this lot is a vibrant commercial poster of map illustrator Ruth Taylor's cartograph of Treasure Island which was originally published in 1939. The map offers an aerial view of the exposition grounds, featuring part of San Francisco in the foreground, along with playful depictions of sea monsters, whales, and boats in the waters surrounding the island. An unrestored poster that appears virtually unused. Closer inspection may reveal one or two minor flaws, such as soft creases, and minute edge/corner/handling wear.
